Aggie Haiku Friday
Having won the ball game against them this week, I continue to have fond feelings for the Aggies. So, let's borrow from last week, and I will just give you the last line, and you make the rest of the haiku.
This week's last line is "Went to A & M."
Here is mine:
Dallas ADA
Spoke so well in class; who knew?
Went to A & M.
Now it is your turn... Horns, Frogs, Bears, Cougars, and anyone else is welcome to join in...

In a perfect world
Happy R R L would have
Went to A&M
Instead we get an
Angry Bear, If only he
Went to A&M
Lane is also sad
He saw campus and wished he
Went to A&M
They don't agree lots
But they both now wish they had
went to A&M

RRL you are killing me today, dead dogs and sacred grass!!! People wonder where a certain shade of my personality comes from, it is from being raised in College Station among them.
You couldn't invent the Aggies.

Uh... in the interests of standard English, I will also allow the final line of
"Gone to A & M"
where appropriate (ie, IPLG's last verse)

There was a cheerleader named Rick
Whose mind was always quite sick
He was known to weep
When rebuffed by sheep
If only they weren't so quick.
(Also, RRL has displayed true mastery of the highest forms of the poetic art, the haiku and the Aggie joke, and so I must but humbly bow before his talent. Well played, RRL. Well played.)

Thanks Lane, our dislike of
A&M bonds us together, like
a worker's collective.
One more, a little blue:
Why did Aggie cross
road? D*ck was stuck in chicken.
Went to A&M.

Girl named Sweety Shah
Vegetarian, told me
She'd found A & M
"What will you eat?" I
Said (she was my student); she
Said they had veg food . . .
Her Facebook page (four years later)
Indians in Aggie sun;
Went to A & M.
