Pretty good weekend in Detroit
I went to the pretty thrilling Detroit Lions/New Orleans Saints game last Sunday, which Detroit won. All in all, it was a good weekend for Detroit-area sports:
-- The Lions won in overtime
-- The Tigers swept
-- The Michigan Wolverines inexplicably beat Oklahoma 17-10, and
-- That Red Wings didn't lose.
None of them are winning a championship, but still... not a bad weekend.
