On Fish
It was good to see IPLawGuy back in the haiku groove:
Feed a man a fish;
Teach a man to fish and he
will not go hungry.
Teach a man to fish and he
will not go hungry.
And I loved this anonymous entry:
Walking on a beach
Saw man catch a baby shark'
Dangling from his line
He took off the hook
Held it in palm of his hand
This small miracle
Gently released it
Back to the surging ocean
Hope he found way home!

Dangling from his line
He took off the hook
Held it in palm of his hand
This small miracle
Gently released it
Back to the surging ocean
Hope he found way home!
Christine took the bait:
Every summer
Anglers, along the shoreline
Bait buckets ready
Anticipation
As minnows swim, unknowing
Their fate is a hook.

Their fate is a hook.
As did this second anonymous friend:
Who was that one guy
He wished for fish in his
Fish wish dish (I think)?
