In the rain

Some great haiku about the rainy day-- thank you, friends.

We had this evocative poem from Christine:

In Tampa rain pounds
The metal roof, relentless,
Hours and hours

In Durham rain falls,
gently, dripping, from the trees
Regenerative.

And a great one from my Mom:

Rain at the cabin
soft lichens and mosses in
gorgeous shades of green.

And this from the re-located Jill Scoggins:

Hot mornings, then hard
afternoon rains: that’s summer
on Georgia’s coastline.
