Haiku Friday: The last days of summer

I love our state fair, where I get see things like this pig and the 10-year-old who raised it. But it also signals the end of summer, which is a little hard sometimes. Let's haiku about that this week.

The shadows lengthen
At six in the evening
My shadow waves back.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable pattern and have somem fun!

Comments:
Fake news! Summer lives
Labor Day is a false flag
Three more weeks till Fall!

Dew points are dropping
Air becoming breathable
Crisp apples in sight

Leaves start falling from
August heat and rain scarcity:
prelude of fall show!

Hmmm. I wrote a haiku yesterday and poof. I will start again.

First hint of color
As tired leaves twirl downward
To there resting place.

Don’t switch the closet
yet! Mother Nature’s gonna
turn the heat back up.

That nip in the air
Harbinger of colder days
Noo, I’m not ready!
