Wine and Poetry

 


There were some fine haiku this week, and I especially enjoyed this one from Anonymous:

Essence of beauty
Rows of vines on a hillside
Sun shining through leaves.

IPLawGuy asks a fair question:

Lots of good blues tunes
about wine and its effects
What's spo-dee-o-dee?

Christine has plans:

Spring rolls in, I
Sample Roses to find the one...
Will sip all summer.

And Des seems to remember the 80's pretty well:

Wax drips down bottle
and basket. Chianti is
both drink and decor.
