Haiku Friday: Longing for Spring

This is the time of year that I usually start dreaming of Spring. It has been another weird winter in Minnesota (at least my part) with very little snow so far. But still, the cold has worn me down, and I am starting to daydream. Let's haiku about those dreams of Spring! Here, I will go first:

That first brave flower
A flash of colors emerge
Brave vanguard of hope.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable pattern and have some fun!

Comments:
Allergies, mud, rain
Yuck. Give me crisp air and snow
Winter is the best!

Lavender lilac
A bliss kiss for the nose,I
Float into birdsong.

I’m sick of my coat
The wind-bite below zero—
Come Spring, Fair Maiden!

In the meadow,I
Fantasize the first greenness,
Without snow—sweet sprig.

Toppling off my boots
I fall to my knees,worship
.Earth. Her Gifts will spring.

Vacant lot pales to
Pristine. I mourn wild roses,
Brown-eyed Susans: Spring!

Spring's near. Creaks, pops, bangs,
as winter sun shines on our
hundred year old house.

Pink blossoms of
the flowering apricot
greet me each winter

Brighten winter skies
On cold and rainy gray days
Feeding honey bees
