Haiku Friday: Favorite tree

 




I took this picture of my favorite tree last winter-- I think it is a good thing to have a favorite tree. Let's haiku about those this week. Here, I will go first:

Lakeside sentinel
Trunks akimbo, leaves dismissed
Bare in your beauty.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable pattern and have some fun!
