Haiku Friday: Houseguests

This is a time of year when people hit the road to visit family and friends-- and many people either are houseguests or are entertaining some. Let's haiku about that this week! Here, I will go first:

Not a good sign
When your eight houseguests pull up
In a U-Haul truck.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable pattern, and have some fun....

Comments:
Guests sleeping over.
Common when/where I grew up
A midwestern thing?

Awaiting grandson’s
visit is just as happy
as visit itself.

Mom flew to Durham
Finally met her grand dog
Face licks galore, love

My German grandma
Said fish and guests stink after
Three days. Tchuss! Viel Glueck!
