Haiku Friday: Pool life

It's pool season.

For most of us, that means some kind of community pool, full of happy kids and lane markers and swathed in the scent of barbecues. It's indelible.

Let's haiku about that today. Here, I will start:

From the water, watch
Heat shimmer off the pavement
Dusk will come, again.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable pattern, and have some fun...

Comments:
Sweet sting of chlorine.
The burn and itch and bite that
Leaves you wanting more.

City pool across
the street. In summer, school’s out.
We’re there, ev’ry day.

Every town has her
The lifeguard boys would “drown” for
