A pretty good year for Eastern hockey!

In case you were wondering (and I know you were), the line-up is set for next week's Men's Frozen Four here in St. Paul. Here are the combatants:

Ohio State
Minnesota-Duluth
Notre Dame
Michigan

As happens most years, it is an all-Midwestern final. The Eastern teams tried hard and really did their best, I think, but in the end just didn't have the talent or focus to make it through. Princeton, for example, lost after a tragic incident in which one of the player's cravats came off and he tripped and hit his funny bone. That really hurts!  Northeastern went down when three players were penalized simultaneously for "really offensive language," based on some comments that I can't repeat here.

It seems like it will be a great tournament-- and maybe I'll head over there to see one of the games!

Comments:
Oh Lord (again) ... Clearly your skates are too tight.

Princeton players are wearing cravats on the ice? No wonder they lost.
