Haiku Friday: Driving!

We Americans love cars and driving… and I am an American.

Let's haiku about cars and driving this week. Here, I will go first:

Undeniable urge:
I'm longing for a road trip
Want to hear my wheels.

Now it is your turn! You can interpret the theme broadly; just have some fun! Use the 5/7/5 syllable recipe, and tell us what you know...

Comments:
Don’t try to tell me
Houston commutes aren’t the worst.
They are! They so are!

My car fell way down
Off a bridge, to the hard ground
I was not inside.

Our Grande Dame, Bessie
Goes to the "spa" frequently.
Many miles, many oil leaks.

Stuck in a snow drift,
My rear wheels spin fruitlessly,
Why do I live here?

Bessie's mini-strokes
Affect passenger side locks
But not her bright smile!

Boston turn-signals
The safeguard of the fainthearted
Man … no guts, no glory

Turn signals, Craig A?
Signaling is for sissies!
So says Chicago.
