A good question: Lie detectors

Comments:
Good explanation. During my Ph.D. studies, we reviewed the strategies that people can use to manipulate the results of a lie detector examination. It law school, in a class on scientific evidence, we learned that false results can be induced by stress, by guilt for other reasons than the present matter (e.g., a parent feeling guilty about not better supervising his child), and by other thoughts and distractions.
