Haiku Friday: Post-election blues (and reds)

If you are like me, you are still trying to figure out what all happened in Tuesday's elections.  Let's haiku about that this week!  It can really be about any elections, anywhere (even India).

Here, I will go first:

What's up, Alaska?
Why does it take so long to count?
But now, legal pot.

Now it is your turn!  Just use 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and five in the third...

Comments:
The Medievalist
Is bluer than blue these days,
Living with the red.

Thank you for your votes
I will take it from here said the
special interests

You win some & you
lose some; never conclusive
Enjoy the good days.

Oh, those stupid ads!
Pols, stop whoring out your kids.
Just seems so smarmy.

From the Left, 'Hillary 2016':
Priebus is grinning
Like a pig in sh**...midterms.
Give it two years, Reince.

From the Right, 'Hail to the Chief':
Take that, Obama!
Lame duck-it's what's for dinner.
Shots shots shots shots shots!

I put these up on the Daily Kos a couple of days ago. Your mileage, of course, may vary.

It's difficult to
cast votes for those who helped you
When help's not perceived

They were promised much.
Little was received; so they
believed other lies.

Big money triumphs;
It will, as long as money
is what matters most.

As the centrists fail,
will you leftists return to
the home that spurned you?

When they are misled,
once again, people may know:
Change comes from below.
