Razor Hero of Writing Bob Darden has a great piece up at the On Faith website, titled Ferguson Isn't Over-- Why Christians Must Pay Attention.  Here is part of what he has to say:

Someone was not being heard in Ferguson. If the government — local, state, federal — isn’t paying attention, if the media isn’t paying attention, then the church, at least, should be paying attention. The church was created to champion those who have no other champion. And when the church instead identifies with the rich, the powerful, the politically connected, then it ceases to serve one of its most vital functions.

That's just a teaser, though-- really it's best to read the whole thing.
