Haiku Friday: Businesses we miss

Today, let's haiku about businesses we miss... the good ones that slipped away into the dark.  It can be a restaurant, a toy store, whatever!

Here is mine:

Trucks went out all ways
They left milk in the chute, dawn.
Still defines morning.

Now, you go!  Make if 5 syllables/7 syllables/5 syllables, and have some fun...

Comments:
Oh, Golden Corral!
Why did you go away? Damn!
Now I fry alone.

The dime store in town
You could buy little turtles
Swimming in a dish.

Musty used bookstore,
filled with tomes of adventure -
and two fat guard-cats.

Thruway Marketplace
It smelled like my childhood
Now both are long gone.

Soda and ice cream.
Jerked from the great machine.
Nineteen Fifty Two.

Spent the last 20 minutes trying to smash a Norman Rockwell scene together with a "whites only" sign, but it just wasn't happening. At least not as a haiku.

The Jack in the Box
across the street, middle school,
tempting teen hunger

A business model, thankfully, no longer acceptable...

They exit the bus
hunger deep in their belly
Sign, go around back

David - I tried your challenge

Mature women clerks
knowledgeable, delightful,
liked the selection

Of pattern and bolt --
Vogue design, delicate silk
in watery blues.

Wedding dress ... marriage
endure. Amluxen’s Fabrics ...
lost to 3rd World clothes.
