Haiku Friday: Favorite shirt

We all have one!  Let's haiku about a favorite shirt today.  Here is mine:

Red flannel, soft, warm;
Official Sicky-boy shirt--
Healing properties!

Now it is your turn... it doesn't have to even be a shirt you even own any more, or perhaps one that reminds you of a moment.... 5 syllables/7 syllables/5 syllables and something about a shirt is good enough for me!

Comments:
Gray Dark Knight T-shirt
Announces to the world that
Good conquers evil.

Snuggly gray sweatshirt
Didn't go there but would have
If I had met him.

It tells stories that
I want to know, but do I?
A different time.

Ideas, ideals
We had such promise those years
Coat me in that warmth
MMM

Worn out gray sweatshirt,
During the Texas summer,
It dreams of winter.

Pink, preppy, still own
from 1978
will never throw out

My above Haiku is about my favorite pink Oxford cloth shirt from Hickeys of GP. I begged for that shirt. It is so worn and soft and no longer fits, except as a over shirt But I will not part with it. That said...

He leaves for a trip
I raid his closet, searching
for a reminder

Perfect, comfort found,
wrapped within his long arms..
Sleep, sweet dreams, drifting

New sky blue T-shirt
Color takes me to heaven
Where my people live

Haiku Friday Queen?
For me it is obvious
Long live Queen Christine.

"Meese is a Pig" Shirt
Gift as I left to law school
Worn to Supreme Court

You are kind of smelly now
Less white than when new

Innocence Mission
I'm sentimental still, though
Not so innocent

Red roses capture him--
Stems remind him Spring So Green
Rose red buttons ope!

She fits tight sweet
Silk spots exclamation.Tells
Him what,why to hold.

Oblivion dance
Take him to the brink loosehot.
Make him smell Paris.

Listen,Osler--

Geoff stole my blue shirt
When I was in the shower.
Said it went perfect

With red jeans!OMG!
To a gala?You suck.Me:
Dupioni silk.

Humiliation
Thy name is Geoff.
Bye-bye she now texts.

Sally,my Flower--
I needed blue shirt to keep
You close to my heart.

Aphrodisiac
Of sweat and Evening in Paris
Held me in your grippe.

Give me another chance.
My cone to your coffee ice
Cream! Careful...I'll melt!

My Daddy's Shirt

They spread them out on
His office floor.His shirts still
Evoking himself.

I never knew his
Penchant for plaid.But there it
Was: A farmer's fancy.

I smelled long days, deep
Frustration. I gave it a hug.
Worry.Kissed cheek.

Thank you,Mark, for the chance to cry seven years later.See how vital a daddy is to a child's existence!

Saw him get sick in
An irrigation ditch.His
Ulcers were bitin'.

Rocked smart little boy,
Who worked so damn hard.No time
To do homework.Damn!

Old now,he turned left
Into on-coming traffic--
Oh,Daddy! Good-bye!

But I still have the
White and red and blue plaid--
Knowledge you loved me.

Oops! I meant for that comment to be at the end. Machines sometimes elude me.
