Haiku Friday: December!

I heart December. Next to October and May, it is my favorite month. You can haiku about anything you want, so long as it has a nexus to December.

Here is mine:

First snow, miracle
Go and stand in it, and twirl
It dances with you.

Now, you go! C'mon, you can do it!

Comments:
A long December
Chilly winds, the fire warms me
Heartache and blessings.

Last month tired year,
Ice frost biting wind white snow,
red nose and warm heart.

A temple was saved
Oil lasted eight full days
Purity restored.

Now, in memory,
My Jewish friends light candles.
This is Hanukkah.

It's that time of year
Santa is coming! oh my!
We must all be good.

But for me, this month
Is closure. To make all things
Right and good. Or try.

It was our last hug:
Four Christmases ago now -
December is hard.

Wish I'd held on tight!
Could've, should've, would've. Sigh.
Miss you, Brother Bear.

First date on the 12th.
Three hundred seventy one
Days later, Married.

December darkness
Descends early here. Relieved
By twinkling lights.

Recall Y2K?
Pandemonium. But then
Quiet New Year’s Day.

How much will you pay
For true love? Money does not
Work.Love does.Just love.
