Haiku Friday: Bad food

Fraternity corn,
What are these little dark things?
Uh oh... that's not food.

Or straw? They are disgusting.
Bad delicacy.

Why is cilantro
in everything? Hippie herb.
Tastes like soap to me.

Blue cheese, raw onions,
curry, coconut, pears: who
wants to blog for me?

My dad likes almost
Everything. Just not kidneys,
lutefisk, lefse.

How do you cook the
kidneys, I asked. He: "You boil
the piss out of them."

Lutefisk: it's the
piece of cod that passes all
understanding. Heh.

 
Cafeteria,
The menu, pizza burgers,
Red vomit on toast.
 
southern collard greens,
bacon fat, vinegar, boil
pot liquor delight

people salivate
my food should look like something
not slimey brown slop
