I love him too,and have loved this particular song and sung it for years.Music like this gives us our backbone and our gait and a sense of the deep mellow that propels us through the moments of our lives when we cannot see or smell the sea.

Doc Watson's life was a testament to the human spirit. Blinded by disease at a young age he exuded joy and an appreciation of life. He was unable to see all the the people smiling back at him. RIP Dad

Oh,Dad!! Perfect tribute. I love my painting and so does everyone else who ever has the chance to enter my parlour. I am so far from the sea and the flame of sun in the winter,but the painting gives me hope every day.
