$8.37
Let's say, not-so-hypothetically, that you have $8.37, and have decided to blow it on a movie? What should you see? Prometheus? Ted? That one with the bears?

Neither!
Go see the "Most Exotic Marigold Hotel"!
But if the two mentioned are your ONLY choices - the I vote for Prometheus

The Abe Lincoln movie would be cool to see, but I would go to see Ted: Mark Wahlberg in a Seth MacFarlane film (I couldn't pass up all the townie and Brown jokes).

Ab Lincoln disappointed, but I LOVED the book. Bernie was pretty dang good (except fo Matt M.'s over the top DA). The one with the bears was alright but not up to Pixar standards. I want to see Moonrise Kingdom, but it STILL hasn't come to Beaumont. It is on two screens in Waco...
I saw Prometheus and Moonrise Kingdom this week. Both were good. If you wanna see awesome alien killing sci-fi fun...Prometheus. If you wanna engage in off beat hipster awkward hilarity...Moonrise Kingdom.
I'll cast a vote for Moonrise Kingdom, too.
Regarding Bernie: Matt M is, of course, over the top as the DA, because Matt M is over the top as Matt M, and whatever role he plays on screen bears a striking resemblance to Matt M. In this case, however, it likely not far off, except that the real Danny Buck Davidson is not someone who would look good with his shirt off.
The beauty of Bernie was its use of real Carthage TX residents, and casting that found actors capable of fitting in with them.
