Interesting piece....
Understanding a candidates faith or lack their of is important. But more importantly I want to know they understand what is good for the goose may not always be good for the gander.
Although they may rely on their faith in a crisis or time a large decisions I want to know that their faith will not be their only guide. They need to know that what is in the best interest of the majority may be contrary to their faith background and be able to reconcile that internally.
