Haiku Friday: New Year's Eve

NYE
by: oslerguy

Here it comes! New Year's Eve! Let's haiku about that, whether your plan is for something loud or something quiet. As a starter, use the first line "My New Year's Eve Plan."

Here is mine:

My New Year's Eve plan:
Gather a lot of foodstuffs
And then eat them all.

Now it is your turn! The winner gets their bio here on Monday...

Comments:
So overrated-
This 'holiday' of new starts
I think I will sleep.

My New Years Eve Plan...
There will be no noise makers
Just a quiet calm

As for New Years Day
A culinary attempt
Health, Wealth, Happiness

Champagne, caviar,
Casablanca on the tube,
What else could we want?

My New Year's Eve Theme:
It's Hello Kitty party time!
Get out your red bows!

West Texas Christmas
Stay up all night with family
Welcome to New Year's.

My New Year's Eve plan...
Laphroaig Scotch and ostrich Fan--
Dance while I still can.

Thanks Be to God for
Another year more,free from
Ennui and snore.

I'll buy more hats and
Drink more tea,sing more songs,
Strive to remain free.

Happy New Year,Professor! You are delightful.

Just "Am-meter Night"?
I preferred Polynesia's
Sup'r Bowl of Parties

Sleep sleep sleep sleep sleep
No "bye bye beluga" this
year. Sleep sleep sleep sleep.

My New Years Eve Plan...
Weight loss allure, "Get on it."
Sweet, daiq'ris till then...

Micah--I am so out of touch with the sports scene...I thought you were talking about a party given by Polynesia,Dr. Doolittle's parrot. Oh dear!
