Life with seasons: Minnehaha Creek

Comments:
More snow posts....

I don't know what is more odd: the fact that there is SO MUCH SNOW there right now, or the fact that he is actually ENJOYING it...

What woudl HECTOR say about all this snow?

I just worry about him in June, when the snow is really all gone. He won't know what to say then.

Perhaps a pool to guess when the final snow will melt along Creek Minnehaha?

I like the animal tracks on the frozen river. How far out of Minneapolis is "Edina?" It looks like it is in the hinterlands.

I doubt this Edina is in the hinterlands...the "animal tracks" must be from that little poodle that was staring at him the other day.

Lovely, all of them.

Minnesoters, clue us in. Where is Edina?

Edina is right next to Minneapolis. Kind of like Grosse Pointe and Detroit, only a lot nicer, safer and prettier.

And colder.

Edina is sort of south west of downtown Minneapolis, but as the crow flies it's only a couple of miles from the Nicollet Mall (you know, Mary Tyler Moore and all that). It sort of wedged in between south Minneapolis, St.Louis Park and Richfield. Check Google Maps if you don't beleive me.

It's like a Hiroshige painting.
