Thank You

Running this blog is a joy. One of the things I really love is that the people who comment are uniformly interesting and civil. I'm not sure how that happened, but it has, and it is fairly unique on the internet. I do allow anonymous comments, and do not often employ comment moderation, yet I have very few problems, even when I address political subjects.

The best writing on this blog is usually in the comments, and many of us look for the regular contributors, such as Lane, RRL, IPLawGuy, Justin T., DiadelKendall, Michael, Clark, Ginger Huntter, Scott Davis, W.K., Septimus, Christine, Jesse Davis, Kendall, Sleepy Walleye, Swissgirl, TallTenor, the Waco Farmer, the Dallas ADA, the Spanish Medievalist, AZ Public Defender, TydwithBleach, Jessica, and many others who offer up inspired and inspiring stories. Thank you to all of you; what you do almost always makes my day better.

Comments:
As an "anon" commentor, I agree. I love reading your posts and the responses. The conversations are lively but not cruel. I love the great insight and opinions.

GEORGE BUSH DID 9/11!! WAKE UP AND SEE THE TRUTH!! WWW.BUSHDID911.COM

wait, what were we supposed to do? I'm confused.

so is that list in order of "best writing"?! If so, I sense a coming smackdown between Lane and RRL for the championship. Much like the Oscars, I'm just happy to be nominated!

This is where I sheepishly admit I have problems taking compliments and make a wildly inappropriate joke in a socially-awkard attempt to break the ice before backing out of the room and returning to my cave.

(I'll just blame Bush. It's popular today.)

There are a lot of things I love about this blog. I really loved the happy birthday wishes to IPLG. I think those heartfelt birthday wishes prove that it is possible to create an online community. So, thank YOU Mr. Professor Osler!

With the exception of everyone's desire to take away my cigarettes, this blog is boss. Thank you Osler for keeping this bizarre, engaging, and often times enlightening conversation going.

I like all the hippies out on this site!

No seriously, I like participating on the Razor because none of us 'seem' to take ourselves too seriously. Yet, there are meaningful discussion about so many interesting.

Anyone know how the panda's are doing with all the snow in Woodley Park?

Also thank you for not factoring asinine comments too heavily into our grades.

Thank you for hosting and kudos to all.

What, I'm not nominated just because I rarely post and when I do, it's usually an unfunny attempt at humor? Come on!

I can't get in to see them, Christine. The Zoo's closed. They are probably sad because Tai Shan, the cub, was just returned to China last Thursday. There was a big party for him on the Saturday that snowed . . . the one before last. I'm totally disoriented with all this snow and not going to work and more snow coming as we speak , , , , but the pandas have a nice indoor house as well as outdoor "forest" to run in.

Swissgirl - I saw this on CNN or MSNBC last week. I hope this hasn't seriously impacted the dynamic of the panda exhibit!
We are missing this 2nd snow in Durham - hope you don't get too much.

Oh and thank you all for not pointing out that I ocassionally mispell/forget to type words. I can't find a spell checker out here.

Tapp, shouldn't you be studying for PC?

D'oh! Sorry Micah. You are actually funny...

I should be eating right and exercising too, but you don't see me doing that either.

1. "Its an honor just to be nominated. I have so many people to thank..."

Oh - wait that is my Fake oscar Speech. I rarely do it except in front of the mirror.

IPLAW I am SO SORRY I missed your B day - Truly I AM!!!! As a gift, and now that you are so old I will let you win at Scrabulous once in a while.... HAHAHAHAHAHA
JK.

THE RAZOR RUUULLLLEESS!!!!!!!

and Micah You are HILARIOUS! SERIOUSLY!!! Even funnier than this one guy I knew in HS.

Have you ever seen the comments on the waco trib site? They are just awful. I don't know why they allow comments, when it is all people being crude.

Not at the Razor!

I've been a reader of the blog for a long time and think it's great. It's got to be a labor of love to continually post for the duration that this has been up. Makes me wish I had taken more of your classes in law school.

I second everything above, where else can I find a Tyd, an RRL and a Lane in the same room? I love this place. Oh, and Micah I always enjoy your observations, which are always insightful, direct and yet never unkind.

I also like the second "t" the professor has bestowed upon my surname. I look Swedish now or something. I need an umlaut or two and I'll be all set! :)

Tyd grow on trees here in Oregon. Well, not ON trees, but near them.
