Haiku Friday: Dreams

It is a wonderful thing to remember dreams; a window into our present hopes and fears. Let's haiku about dreams this week-- especially those recurring ones.

Here is mine:

The snow falls softly
I am buying coffee, then
Come to sit with you.

Now it is your turn-- just follow the recipe of 5 syllables/7 syllables/5 syllables...

Comments:
People panicking,
Tanks rolling on black asphalt,
Russians — invading!

Squinting through dim light,
Endless boxes stacked, dun crates.
"Now," he says, "find it."

I'm dead, I know that
I'm in Heaven! And guess what?
Heaven is Target!

Bogota by plane
The plane is carried by mules
Bad plan all around.

Missing a test. I
wake up and feel like I've slept
through a final....yikes!!!

I am being chased.
Hate it when this happens.
Scary as all hell.

Settings not the same:
Tinker, tailor, soldier, spy.
Outcome not in doubt.

Awake before end,
I never discover why
I am there at all.

Nearly thirty years
Since this "theme of dreams" began.
Please do not come back.

TallTenor, oh my!
What operatic dreams there!
Mine involve food fights.

Lane and R R L
sharing a picnic basket
holding hands of course

Sandy beach, cold beer
Raw Oysters on the half shell
I must be dreaming....

I just blogged about,
Snow falling on my head and
Osler did the same.

India again
The same but many are gone
Burned in memory

I always dream that
I've grown a tail. Then my clothes
no longer fit me.
