Things that won't happen at Baylor, # 239

It seems that my alma mater is not quite as conservative as it was when I was there...

Comments:
Wow. What are numbers 1 through 238? Any ideas?

Here is # 126: Professor Serr losing an argument.

Wow! Fantastic, as long as the guy was okay with it, too, and the students weren't just making fun of him. I guess they took the "queen" title in a different way . . .

Right. If this happened at Baylor, they'd revoke her scholarship and send him packing.

Lovely the way difference is treated at fine and upstanding institutions of higher learning.

Not quite.

Well played anonymous @ 12:55.

My theory is that quite a few of the voters voted for this person as a joke. We certainly never took this contest seriously, considering the fact that "Brooke Thomas" was a candidate my Senior Year at W&M.

Yes, at Baylor we wouldn't elect a dude as homecoming queen, because this isn't 'Nam and there are rules.

However, I gotta agree with IPLawguy. The first mental image that popped into my head when I read that story was a bunch of frat guys sitting around laughing about getting a transgendered person elected as homecoming queen. I doubt the students were making a political statement. Much more likely they were making a statement about how goofy things like having a homecoming queen are.

Iplaw I am so sorry that you did not win.

I WILL NOT STAND TO LISTEN TO THIS. THIS IS A TOTAL DISRUPTION OF GOOD AMERICAN CHRISTIAN FAMILY VALUES. IF IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AT BAYLOR, GOOD RIDDANCE. PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT LIKE US ARE GOOD, AS LONG AS THEY'RE NOT ONE OF THE GAYS!

Tyd-- Who said he didn't win?
