Most Annoying Television Character Ever

Anon 7:35, you are the child of a fictional character? Who are you, Dora the Explorer or something?
If you are the child of the person who PLAYED Ralph Malph, then why get all defensive? The character was supposed to be annoying.

I nominate Arnold Horshack as the most annoying television character ever. His laugh alone could drive you up the wall.
Mr. CL
Mr. CL
I'm not sure who the guy in the picture is. Before my time I guess. But my generation has a few candidates: Erkel, Screech, or even Cousin Larry (cause Balki was actually pretty cool).
Really? We're not even going to consider awful, awful personalities like Kimmy Gibler, or Skippy from family ties? I'd pay good money to see Ralph Malph sock one to Urkel. I would also like to nominate Ray's snarky wife Debra. Apparently everyone loves Raymond but her. Can't you TRY to make this marriage work!? Then again, Ray was pretty annoying, too. Also Arnold Horshack is my father.
Oh, no. Jesse, Arnold Horshack is also my son, which means that we are related. I... am your Grandfather.
Most annoying character is Screech from Saved by the Bell . . . closely followed by every ohter character that ever appeared on Saved by the Bell.
I'm gonna go with Kimmy Gibler, followed closely by Peggy Hill and the entire cast of Everybody Loves Raymond. I'm also gonna throw Elaine Benes into the mix. She is awful.
The lady from next door on "Bewitched" was pretty awful.
Bea Arthur as "Maude" annoys me to this day. If not for her daughter on the show, there was no reason to watch.
All of the characters on MASH were annoying by the end as they got all touchy feely.

I think I'm with Mr. CL
I vote for Arnold Horshack.
We all knew a Ralph in high school and at the end of the day they were nice people.

What am I to do with this revelation from Bernie Sanders? I guess I should have known I was related to a socialist, I’ve been feeling decidedly inspired by the administration's latest installment of "Adventures of the Politburo." Also, am I the only one picking up a slight anti-Semitic tinge in this thread?
PS- Andy Anderson isn't really annoying, he's just always drunk on-air. Did you see him talking to that horse? I think he has a problem.

Ralph Malph isn't even the most annoying character on his own show. Potsie is much worse--and Richie's college girlfriend comes in second...
"I still got it."
"I still got it."
I'm with WF on this. I rarely watched Happy Days and it was partly because Potsy (Potsie?) was so annoying. Even the nickname Potsie was annoying.
I'd kind of forgotten about the show it was so annoying.
That and the fact that nobody on the show looked or acted like a person from the 1950's.
Heckle and Jeckle were pretty annoying cartoons, as was Snagglepuss.

And Fred Flintstone . . . Yabba Dabba Doo used to drive me up the wall! I watched it for the other Flintstones.
