A few weeks ago, we went camping in a small cove in Kachemak Bay near Homer, AK. I was out fishing in a little boat and all around me there were small, apple-sized jellyfish that kept slowly surfacing and going back down. The water was so clear that you could see them all the way from the surface to the bottom. It was really creepy and they were everywhere. I can understand the dislike of jellyfish.
