And isn't subjective judgement a key element in determining the outcome of any sport? Otherwise we would LOVE the refs...

People always say figure skating is not a sport. In the last Olympics male skaters did 7 rotations in the air after jumping up from the ground, and landed on a 1/4 inch blade of steel. Onto ICE.

How can ANYONE say it is not a sport?

Tyd--

Because the person who did that didn't win?

that video reminded me how great the Great One was... BRAMPTON ONTARIO'S FINEST.

Fishing is NOT a sport and should be excluded from the criticism received by placing it on any derogatory list. If you put fishing on a sports list then you should go ahead and throw in Buddhism too. Noodling might be the exception...

That video would've been a lot cooler if the background music wasn't a Bush song. Seriously, that band was always terrible.

Oh, and it would've been cooler if there were more highlights including the Whalers. Seriously, one of the greatest lost franchises in sports.

Auto racing? Really?
I know I should like it, being from North Carolina and all, but it never made sense to me . . . driving so fast you could get killed, burning a ton of gas . . . anyway.

Although I did love "Talladega Nights," the movie.

Top Five:
Baseball
Hockey
Swimming
Golf
Luge

Bottom Five:
WWF/WWE
NASCAR
Pro Basketball
Olympic Mogels
Women's Softball

No But they can do a quad which is four rotations and then put a foot down and do another three all under like two seconds that is very very athletic!!! How can you say it is not a SPORT? It is one!!!

Don't hate on NASCAR. Some of us have a Jeff Gordon lighter in our purse, as we speak.

Sorry Jessica not a fan of the rainbow warrior. I do enjoy Grand Prix racing (in person not on TV). It is best with a 4th floor office view of the track and a cold beverage.
