Some people are taking Project Runway a little too seriously...

I received this message recently from BLS grad Tim Swearingen (who was reacting to my enthusiasm for Project Runway contestant "Ricky"): "I will cut you. Ricky must go. Don't toy with me, Osler."

So, apparently, if Ricky wins, Swearingen and I will have a knife fight down in Room 127. Should we sell tickets, or just let people watch for free?

Comments:
Could you get Rev. Bill Underwood to referee? Do knife fights have a referee?

Osler--

A knife fight might result in the best haircut you've had in a while.

I'm sorry but I'm with Swearingen on this one. Ricky has done very little to warrant further time on the show.

That said, In a knife fight between you and Swearingen, who gets to be the Sharks and who gets to be the Jets?

What sort of knife fighting emsemble will you be sporting? That leather and chains get-up you used to wear back in College is SOOOOO Eighties!

Whew, what a relief to see that something is taken seriously at BLS. If it's not to be the shortcomings in course offerings, why not a reality television show about fashion?

Seriously, has no one else noticed that Bankruptcy - a required course for the Business Litigation concentration - has not been offered for a year?!

That said, you must wear leather to a knife fight.

Anon. 11:13--

I'm pretty sure you don't want me teaching bankruptcy... that would not be good.

Rami is much better than Ricky. I think I might have to support Swearingen in this knife fight.

Anon 11:13-
Bankruptcy is not the only class required for a concentration that hasn't been taught in a while. They cancelled Conflicts of Law for the Spring making it at least a year since it has been taught. Maybe that is why so few people graduate with concentrations.

I actually like Ricky, but I have to say that I'm backing the fat drag queen guy to win it all, purely under the theory that us big guys gotta stick together. That being said, I totally got your back...I say we move it to the parking lot and I will bring the gats!!

Hello? Does anyone else find it totally inappropriate that Prof. Criminal Practice is proposing a knife fight? I'm pretty sure that is illegal.

That class Conflicts of Law sounds kind of like a knife fight . . .

Conflicts of Lawyers is the class where you learn how to knife-fight.

It's kind of hard to picture Swearingen in a knife-fight.

I think Ricky and his silly see through hat are on on the way out...

I am just glad that Victoria is gone. She was a poseur.

And Osler.. You could take Ricky in a knife fight. Now, if it were a wrestling match, or a joust using nothing but kitchen implements, or possibly a dance off, I think you might be at a disadvantage,. but as long as you could keep knifing even as he makes fun of your hair I think you would be okay.

PS I think Rami or Christian will take the title and the final three will include that dark haired girl that also made the coat this week...I cannot remember her name.

Swearingen has good taste. Gotta back him up on this one. The constant crying is too much. Plus he talks about making all these "hats", but all we ever see him in is that horrible trucker hat and that horrid beanie. They're all crap!

The Alexanders

Oops should have made that last comment clear. The constant crying and horrible hats - I was talking about Ricky. Not Swearingen.

Glad I inspired 15 comments and counting...it's no prom-gate, but I'm still proud.
