Reagan Baby is here!

The famous Reagan Baby, an amazing child who is able to articulate in great detail the philosophies of Ronald Reagan when she is seated beneath a photo of the former president, is visiting me today. She really is quite remarkable. This morning she was discussing fiscal policy, and later this evening, she will be attending the BU/Colorado game with Thatcher Baby, who is visiting from England.

Are there any questions for the Reagan Baby?

Comments:
[Ahem] Madam Reagan Baby,

What can you do to bring people together and change things in Washington?

_b_:

The key to changing things in Washington will be to bring real Americans within the beltway, instead of the professional politicians who have ruled for too long and who continue to live off the taxes of the many. Need new diaper.

Reagan baby, I have no questions. Just a comment: you are absolutely one of the cutest babies I have ever seen and you simply radiate light.

OH and Your mom is WAY cuter than stupid Tea Leoni.

Love, Tydw... Uh I mean...
Helen Thomas

Miss Reagan Baby -

Who, in your judgment, proffered the best haiku yestrday?

Another question Miss Baby -

Why is Canal Road backed up every morning? Is it the timing of the lights, the poor condition of the pavement, or simply a right-wing conspiracy to portray the Fenty administration as inept?

Tradelawguy--

Should we be surprised when a bloated, self-serving government is good only at awarding itself and lessening our expectations? Canal Road, like everything else, would be better served by the steady hand of competition than the fumbling grip of bureaucrats. Also, I need a fresh diaper.

Madam Reagan Baby,

Are you available for coffee or sippies on Sunday? And, in your opinion, is cloth or disposable more eco-friendly? Also, can Hank have your phone number? He thinks you are super-cute!

Reagan Baby,

Since America is a "city on a hill," what is Canada?

Anonymous--

Canada, sadly, does not share our commitment to the free-enterprise system and international accountability to freedom. If America is a city on the hill, Canada is a guy selling time-shares on the road down from the hill-- a development with curb appeal but no real lasting value. Also, I'm wet again.

Dear Ms. CL

Disposable or diaper service-- isn't competition and free-enterprise a great thing? Thanks to the gift of our forefathers to us in the form of capitalism, we have that choice. We are very fortunate not to live in a nation which does not honor choice. Also, sure, I'll take some coffee, in a sippie.

Reagan Baby has ruled. Her favorite haiku is:

Dad made me write this
several lines of him watching
He's watching me now!

She says this Haiku perfectly captures the problem of big government attempting to stifle creativity.

Iplawife and I liked Swissgirl's about dressing up as Crack Cocaine for Halloween. That and the Walleye's one about phlegmy kissing at the prom.

Well I believe Canada is America's hat. No doubt about it.

Love,
Matt
