Today is the day! Let's go!

It's finally the first day of PR, and I'm ready to rock. Still, it's always wise to do a final pre-flight review:

-- Full syllabus? Check
-- Lecture outline? Check
-- Giant bag full of cash? Check
-- Ceremonial sword? Check
-- Lasso? Check
-- Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct? Check
-- Samovar? Check
-- Teddy Ruxpin doll, loaded with tape of me giving the lecture? Check
-- ABA Model Rules? Check
-- Chocolate fountain? Check

Comments:
Dude! You're forgetting the Goofus and Gallant illustrations!

How are you going to explain the difference between good lawyers and bad lawyers without those?

I think when you come to Waco in October, we should do a "Performance Art" version of Goofus and Gallant for the class. Um, which will you be?

Is it a lasso of truth?

The Teddy Ruxpin thing should be interesting.

Oh, Goofus for sure! Its always more fun to play the villian.

On the Teddy Ruxpin thing, be sure to the right tape in this time. No one wants to hear "that" tape again.

There is another painting that would fit in the PR Gallery...

OK what is a Samovar?

It actually was a big BOX of money.

It's the big bag--or box--of cash that I'm most dubious about. In a class on ethics? Is that supposed to show you what you're NOT supposed to do?

I lecture on ethics occasionally and have found that small envelopes of cash placed discreetly at each attendees desk, underneath a folder, works best.

I was there. He really did have a big box of cash, and he dumped it on some student's computer.
