Excuse me, but I believe Pr. Bates is calling you out...

From the frozen tundra of his native Minnesota to the searing deserts of Texas, there is no man or woman yet born who has been able to withstand the foosball fury of Prof. Larry T. Bates. His concentration is so sharp, his moves so smooth, and his trash-talking of such an intimidating quality that none last long across the table. Some call it foosball, some call it table soccer, but the vanquished foes of the Foos Master call it humiliation.

Feeling a little full of yourself? Need a reality check on your hand-eye coordination? Or just want an excuse to be in the presence of the Master? Either way, bring $5 (for Mission Waco) to Crickets tomorrow at 9 and you will have your chance... oh, yes, you will.

Comments:
Whatcha suppose he's pointing at?
Perhaps An Sasquatch.

Abominabus Sasquatchius can not survive in the cold weather of the north. Rather, its cold whether counterpart has developed (over evolutionary time) a thick furry white coat (to keep it warm and blend into its surroundings) as well as the ability to become blurry at will (to evade predator paparazzi). This is the well known, but rarely photographed species Abominabus Snowmanican. Perhaps Bates is pointing at one of those (his hair and calming smile might lull the beast into believing that he is a friendly allowing him to get closer than normal). Alas, the photographer (in a rush of excitement no doubt) photographed the wrong thing.

Love,
Matt

It's true that I must have been looking in the wrong place.

Actually, what was going on is that there were two groups of animals out on the ice: A herd of deer, and a pack of wolves. Later, the wolves took down a deer, and it was one of the most amazing things I have ever heard.

Nonsense! He's saying, "if you need to go, there's a bunch of trees over there."

Professor Osler

Any idea when you think you will post PR? Before Xmas?

Hey anony--

Probably it will go up tomorrow or Wednesday. It doesn't look like anyone failed (I have graded all the exams, have to incorp. the scores for the exercise now).

Do the exercise scores count for all of the PC classes. I know they were applied to PC1. If that is the case can we go down in grades in all of our classes from the same exercises?

No, I'm talking about the ethics exercise that we did near the end of the class, not the PC exercises.

Thanks for the clarification and the honesty about the process.
