You choose the winner!

The last few weeks I have chosen the winner of the haiku contest, but this week I am leaving it to you, the readers. The poll should appear just to the left of this message. Intriguingly, our finalists include a Baylor freshman, a partner at Holland & Knight, a member of the Gatos street gang in LA, and, uh, a Swiss girl.

The winner will receive this week's prize, a framed photo of Baylor law students smoking outside a hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.

Comments:
Is this going to be one of those Texas elections I've read about in Robert Caro's biographies of Lyndon Johnson where ballot boxes are mysteriously discovered days after the election with more votes than registered voters?

IPLG--

Yes.

You mean my ode to raw meat and blood did not make it into the finals. Rats!! Foiled again.

I suggest the cynical IPLG and Osler get involved in fixing the process -- poll workers are always needed, and those under 72 years old (the average age) are particularly needed.

-- Baylor Patent Guy '94, who will spend 14 hours working at the polls tomorrow as election judge instead of billing clients. And who hasn't lost a box of ballots yet.

I prefer to stand outside the polling places in the pre-dawn cold (and in Virginia, it can be quite cold at 6 AM) distributing literature on behalf of hapless local candidates that get absolutely no press attention due to the local media's fixation on National issues.

Besides, its all electronic voting in Northern Virginia now. NOTHING could go wrong with computers, right?

LOVE the polling idea!!!

Vote for none of the above
It worked for Brewster

The problem is that I can't tell what you are writing, and worry that it is all about muskrats, like that other time...

You know I was never convicted on that muskrat thing, and you know it. It was all hearsay anyway. Wow, they find a muskrat in your suitcase and you never live it down. You know I donated it to a game farm afterwards.
