I like to watch
The first day of Criminal Practice was great, at least from my perspective. Dr. DeAnna Toten Beard came over from the theater department to discuss the play we read, and she was so much better than I was at explaining it that I felt well-educated when she was done.
Is it a bad sign that when people come and speak in my class and I sit and watch, I find it so much more interesting than when I speak? Uh, don't answer that....

Oh no you didn't! I'm pretty sure I should get a title for being the ambassador to Baylor from the "Jewel of the Forest"! We should have an exchange program.
And also, that's not ethical to make fun of students on your blog....unless you add a few points to their PR exams! That should get me a plus for every syllable of the haiku when read aloud by a Jasperite...so 47 plusses. I await my high A.

The first time I heard Jen's accent at its best was before her opening exercise. We were practicing together, and her accent became a part of the story she was telling. The opening worked because of her Jasper-like delivery. Her ability to use the accent is priceless.
I meant to say...
Her opening worked so much better because of her Jasper-like delivery. (even without the accent, the opening was a great story)

Is Jasper really the "Jewel of the Forest?" Is there really a forest?
I'll think about the 47 pluses... but if I give you those, I'll be hearing a lot of fake Jasper accents in the spring.
