Those who give us hope: Curacao Soccer
Curacao is a Dutch Caribbean island (it is an independent nation under the Dutch throne), with a population of only about 150,000.
And this year, it will be playing in the World Cup for the first time in history. It is the smallest nation-- both in terms of population and in land area-- to ever play in the World Cup.
I'll be rooting for them!
