Haiku Friday: On Wine

Even if you don't drink it, wine can be fascinating. It comes, usually, form beautiful places where warm days and cool nights meet. My dad wasn't that interested in wine as such, but was fascinated by the places it was made and the people who make it. So let's haiku about that this week. Here, I will go first:

It swirls in the glass
And the scent is released
Once, that was enough.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable formula, and have some fun....

Comments:
Wax drips down bottle
and basket. Chianti is
both drink and decor.

Spring rolls in, I
Sample Roses to find the one...
Will sip all summer

Lots of good blues tunes
about wine and its effects
What's spo-dee-o-dee?

Essence of beauty
Rows of vines on a hillside
Sun shining through leaves
