Haiku Friday: Summer Begins, for real

Memorial Day is behind us. Now we look forward to real summer: warm days, vacations, a downshift in stress. Let's haiku about that this week! Here, I will go first:

A medium twist, please
And I'd like chocolate dip
And seven napkins.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable pattern, and have some fun!

    Virginia summers:
Swimming through hot, humid days -
    Not my favorite.

    However, summer
    sweat beckons the relief of
    cool Virgina falls!

Did the tune inspire the show?
Or, the song inspire The Lovin Spoonful?

    (I cheated on syllables)
