Haiku Friday: Siblings

One of the best things in my life is the relationship with my brother and sister, who constantly inspire me. We're different from each other, but that's part of what makes it good. Let's haiku about siblings this week-- here, I'll go first:

I may be oldest
But no way am I the best
Those two amaze me.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable pattern and have some fun!

Comments:
My little sister
Was the best of us: funny,
Kind, brave to the end

My sister is Pam.
Age 4, she carried me home
from the hospital.

My sister is Pam.
Age 10, she introduced me
to The Beatles’ songs.

My sister is Pam.
Sixteen, she taught me how to
put on eye makeup.

My sister is Pam.
Twenty, she got her first grown-up job
and bought me cute clothes.

Thirty-four, she gave
me a niece to go with my
beloved nephew.

In our forties and
fifties, we traveled and laughed
and talked and talked more.

In our sixties, we
did more of the same. Why stop
when you’re having fun?

My sister Pam is
now seventy-one and has
that thief dementia.

She forgets and she
hallucinates. Frustrated,
she screams and curses.

But she is still my
sister Pam. I still see her
sometimes in her eyes.

Both of my brothers
Are better At sports, but I
Ran a marathon!

A proud achievement
As a Dad: My three chuldren
Get along quite well!

Two girls, two boys spread
out geographically, yet
common bonds prevail.

What happened to us?
Not telling let us move on
Secret forever

Me and my brother
Very different people
But we tag team well

Strengths and weaknesses
Intermingle very well
We have our moments

Two bros and a sis
Unique in style and temper
Unified in love

Minnie horror and
They all called to speak love
I blanket them close.
