Haiku Friday: The News

 


Remember when the news was pretty much just "dumb stuff Trump said yesterday?" I kind of miss that. Now it is floods, fires, war, pestilence. Sigh. 

Let's haiku about what we are reading or watching in the news, good or bad. Here, I will go first:

Ida wasn't done
She snuck up to New York, like
A Carolina rat.
