Sunday Reflection: A Short and Deep Truth
I once asked a question of a theologian, a question within the field of theology. It does not matter what that question was (and I'm not sure that I remember).
This was a man who knew the Bible by heart, was a fervent believer, who had given sermons and lectures across the country and around the world, who was regarded as wise by those I regarded as wise.
This was his answer to my question, and answer I have held close and cherished"
"I don't know, but not knowing makes me more in awe of God."
