Haiku Friday: Reflections on 2017


So this is the last of 2017, an eventful year, and perhaps we should haiku on that. Feel free to talk about what happened to you, to others, to us all. It helps that "2017" has five syllables!

Here, I will go first:

Twenty Seventeen--
Lost a cause and wrote a book
But causes come back.

Now it is your turn! Just use the 5/7/5 syllable formula, and have some fun!
