I loved the haiku (and other poems) we got in last week. IPLawGuy's really should be set to music:
Rain! Bring it on!
Wash that pollen down the drain
itch and sneeze no more.
I'm pretty sure I know what my dad was getting at, too:
rain meant I couldn't
go out and some days it meant
I did not have to
