Gavin's road
Did you see this haiku on Friday? I mean, how good is this? I love it:
I stop, turn, and look.
The long road that brought me here
winds back through my past.
Many forks, dead ends.
Love, war, fate, chance changed the way.
And Her. Always Her.
I took Frost's road once,
jumped the fence and left the path,
towards uncharted land.
The road less traveled
was still a road, after all.
Simply seeking more.
All I wanted was
a life less ordinary.
Seek and ye shall find.
No way to go back.
This is a one-way road, boy.
Leave the past behind.
Turn, face the unknown.
Brace against the wind, and step.
My horizon waits.
