Excellent...

As a side topic; I don't see how Colbert (is he going to drop the French pronounciation?) shifts from this persona over to affable talk show host. I was rooting for Craig Ferguson.

I think Craig Ferguson is hilarious (and different). I was never the biggest Colbert fan in the first place.

@IPLawguy: Colber(t) and CBS have already launched the rebranding campaign. You'll notice terms like "moderate" and "heartland" are being thrown around a lot.

I agree with both of you that Ferguson is great! In addition to his show, he hosted a show on Discovery Channel's Shark Week a few years ago that was amazing.
