Lawrence Welk, apparently, is an important part of North Dakota Culture

Note his reference to this "modern spiritual." Thanks for the tip, Bob Darden!

  1. FANTASTIC. I think this clip best video-nifies the Razor - throwing culture and religion in a super-collider resulting in fantastically folksy awkwardness that leads to a deeper understanding of EVERYTHING!

Also, what's with the accordian-playing MC who introduces this dazzlingly oblivious duo? That cough ... there's something odd about it...

  4. T'anka yew Dale anna Gale.Let's swing our bouncy curls and pat our aprons. These two wouldn't know a toke if it bit them in their proverbial asses. I love it that they are both in virginal white accented by...wait for it...orange. High-Larry-ous,Professor.

  5. Just a thought, but maybe Myron Floren who introduces them was experiencing his first toke and he accidentally-on-purpose inhaled, ergo the coughing.I am really embarrassed that I know his full name. Although,I used to sing Torch Songs with an incredible accordion player who made it sound as if I had a lush orchestra behind me. None of that "Lady of Spain" stuff.

My thoughts exactly, Renee. That sounds like a "toke" cough from Myron.
