Sorry, IPLawGuy...
That was mean. The truth is that IPLawGuy actually has excellent taste in music.

Congratulations,Professor and Thank you,Baby Jesus! At last something I could listen to all the way through and which delighted my delicate sensibilities. Loved the interplay and inspired combination of sprightly strings. And the musicians were really digging what they were doing.Who are they? I am hard of hearing however, and even with my hearing aids in,I had trouble making out all the lyrics. Can you oblige?
So what kind of music does IPLawGuy really like to listen to?
Old ditties like "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" or "It's a Beautiful Day for a Ballgame" or are you a fan of YES, Moody Blues, Prince, Bonnie Raitt? Do tell? or perhaps the operatic performances of Rzaorite/friend Tall Tenor?

I'll tell you one thing he doesn't listen to: "Southern Cross" by Crosby, Stills & Nash. Don't get him started.

Ha ha ha. The only song I have ever heard IPLawGuy singing was "Walking in Rhythm." Oh, and that one song by the 1910 Fruitgum Company. And "Sweet Caroline," at karaoke.
IPLaw Guy-No Van Morrison? I pegged you to be a Morrison fan. And no shout out for TX Alt Country? Ray Wylie Hubbard? Guy Forsythe? Billy Joe Shaver? Throw us a bone or two...
I need to learn more about Texas alt. country! Before kids I saw a LOT more live music.
The problem is that whenever I visited Waco, the Prof. always claimed there were no good Texas bands and the music scene is nearby Austin was dominated by Queen and Abba cover bands.
I like many of Van the Man's tunes, but many of his recordings are crammed with filler. And his reputation as a human being is pretty low.
And "Brown Eyed Girl" was "our song" for me and my law school on and off and on and off girlfriend. Bad memories best forgotten.

@ Wendy - ok, listened to them on Utube. Not bad, reminds me of some other music I have listened to in the past. If I had an I-Pod I would pay to download a song or two; but I don't.
