Five worst clothing choices for a law student

5. Biker shorts
4. Backwards cap
3. Loincloth made of duct tape
2. Spurs
1. Biker shorts

Comments:
Well there goes tomorrow's outfit.

Jessica--

Can I have the duct tape back, then?

Whoa, I've been missing out on something. Is this type of attire becoming a problem at BLS?

6. Bare feet. Wear your shoes in the law school, period.

Are backwards caps acceptable if you're in the throes of male pattern baldness?

I've tried each of those in the courtroom with varying degrees of success.

Oops! I thought I looked cute today!

Hey, I wore backwards caps to class many a day, and I'm sort of an OK lawyer.

On the other hand, biker shorts are an abomination, and I've never thought spurs were all that necessary for the practice of law.

You can have my duct tape loincloth when you pry it from my cold, dead hands, though.

Pajama pants. Why do people wear pajama pants in public?

Sweat pants... With the exception of those who just came from or are about to head off to an athletic endeavor. And in most cases, not even then. Most places where athletic endeavors take place have locker rooms and everyone can carry a gym bag.

Esp. sweat pants with words across the butt. No one looks good in those.

IPLG -- cheerleaders. That is all.

Also, sweatpants are in general unacceptable, even for athletic endeavors, since the advent of "workout pants," being just as warm as sweats without the horrible idea of fitted ankles.

Lane,

Only if the cheerleaders' sweats are tight enough to be fashionwear. And if showing off one's rear end is the goal, why not go with some nice jeans?
