Haiku Friday: Middle School Edition

Riding a bus this week reminded of the only time of my life during which I regularly too a bus-- middle school. I took a city bus back and forth about 4 miles between school and home. It wasn't nearly as nice as the "executive coach" we had the use of on Wednesday.

So, let's haiku about middle school this week. Ouch, this could get painful...

My friend, Moose Moran
Beat the kid who threw kickboards;
I got detention.

Now it is your turn:

Comments:
i had to hit james.
even after being warned
my freind ate my fries.

Kendall hit me, hard
I only took his fries 'cause
He stole my Salsbury.

Oh, yes, Salsbury Steak
Like a tire tread from the road
But tougher, older...

Salsbury steak is
prob'ly made of yard clippings
and refried bird dung.

I dissected mine.
Guess what I did find inside?
Only some veggies.

Where is "Salsbury"?
Who lives there, and why do they
Make such awful steak?

It's not steak at all.
Steak must be made of pure beef.
Not veggies from Hell.

Jenny Sorenson
Where are you now? Cutest girl EVER
In the seventh grade.

I was four foot nine
Not too easy for a boy
Grew a foot, one year.

In Middle School I
got Detention Once. I did
not participate

but got in trouble
anyway. I did not help
to lock Krissy M in

the boys bathroom at
lunch, but I was there. Guilt by
Association.

Here in Canby, OR
there is a Middle school near.
City Founders thought

it would be good plan
to paint HUGE sing on road RIGHT
in front of Jr High:

HUGE sign reads: "SLOW HUMP."
Much $$$$ to re-do road, only
to put that sign there.

Sigh.

At boarding school we
had DUCK FIELD RICE that looked like
it was from that field. Eww.

Even though that field always had GEESE and not DUCKS. Everyone called it DUCK FIELD RICE.

First Day, 5th grade she:
"Wanna be friends?" now she is
my sister-in-law.

(Only good thing to come of the Middle School experience...my bff).
